Kremasti, located just 12km from Rhodes Town, is the ideal choice for a laid back holiday. Its main attraction is its 10km stretch of sand and shingle beach to unwind and soak up the sun.
Kremasti itself is a busy town with a lovely tree-lined main square adorned with tavernas and shops for the real Greek experience. At the heart of Kremasti is the whitewashed Panagia Kremasti Church, with Byzantine style murals on the walls inside. A 15-minute walk uphill will bring you to a 15th-Century medieval castle where you can get stunning panoramic views of Rhodes and even southern Turkey!
If you fancy a bit of nightlife, you can go to nearby Ialyssos in the evening. If you want a day away from the beach, you can visit nearby Rhodes Town, which filled with sights, history and museums.
