Los Peces

Centrally located in Salou, Los Peces provide a convenient base and spacious apartments for a pleasant holiday in the sun. Only 300m to the excellent sandy beach and equidistant to the centre of the resort, there is a good selection of bars and restaurants in the immediate area. What the property lacks in amenities, it compensates by its accommodation. Facilities on-site include a large swimming pool, sun terrace, pool table, mini golf and 24 reception (high season only). The apartments are basic but spacious and airy. One, two and three bedroom apartments (with capacity for up to 4, 6 and 8 persons, respectively) have separate twin bedroom(s), living / dining area with convertible sofa bed, equipped kitchenette (hob, fridge etc.), air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, full bathroom and balcony or terrace. Please Note: Los Peces is a large property (6 storeys with elevator service) with commercial shops to the front of the building which are under separate franchise. An indemnity deposit of Euro 50 per person is requested on arrival and fully refunded on departure providing the accommodation is vacated in appropriate condition. Please note this property does attract a young clientele. Please be aware also that hand towels only are provided. * Some facilities may incur a local charge. Salou Town

Salou Holidays - A real bonus in this area is that Costa Dorada and Salou in particular attracts Spanish tourists as well as an international audience. This means there are diverse holiday facilities and properties like the centrally located Salou Suites apartments and a wealth of entertainment.

Salou's bars and clubs are pretty lively and, in the high season months, the resort fairly rocks! Vibrant and fun-filled, a young clientele can non stop party here whereas families can enjoy more mainstream entertainment with Irish ballad pubs, music bars, mini discos for the kiddies and games, competitions and nightly animation in many of the hotels.

Most families make at least one visit to PortAventura and neighbouring Costa Caribe waterpark is a splashing day out where you can shoot the rapids or plunge the kamikazi chute. Aquapolis in the area of La Pineda is another waterpark worthy of a wet body with hydrotherapy pools, children's lake and wave pools. Don't forget to visit Cambrils, the dinky fishing village (and now busy tourist resort) for a meal at one of the waterside cafes.

You will genuinely be spoilt for choice with a Salou Holiday when it comes to shopping and eating out. Every type of cuisine is on offer from local and regional specialities to fast food, upmarket and middle of the road international style dishes. Walk the promenade in the balmy evening air, window shop in one of the many outlets or sip a cooling drink on a sea-facing terrace.
